| Pyrobelite® is fire resistant, class EW 30 min, transparent laminated glass with no wire mesh. It is composed of glass and intumescent interlayers that transform into a rigid, opaque screen at approximately 120°C
• Safety Pyrobelite 11 has a PVB film making it an active security laminated glass (it can be used as a safety balustrade under the conditions listed in the test report). Helps keep panic to a minimum during a fire evacuation because it becomes opaque. • Delivery lead-time Pyrobelyte 7 & Pyrobelyte 11 are available quickly because they are regularly stocked items Assembly in insulating glass units will require a longer lead-time. • Applications Indoor use in buildings that must comply with fire codes and regulations - doors - partitions - wood or steel fixed frames The fire protection rating is guaranteed only if the glass is installed according to the instructions in the test reports. The structure must strictly comply with all aspects of the test report and its field of application. |
