Clear & tinted float glass

Mirogard

Float glass in thicknesses of 2 mm to 19 mm and 25 mm is available in standard or custom-cut dimensions, with straight or shaped cuts according to your instructions.

Clear glass is not totally transparent. Its natural bluish-green
tint appears as the thickness increases, and depending on the exposure, glare can occur.

- For maximum light transmittance at thicknesses greater
than 8 mm, it is best to use extra-clear glass, also known
as extra-white glass or low-iron glass.

- To reduce glare, opt for basic anti-reflective glass
or anti-reflective glass for picture frames, Mirorgard®

- For perfect transparency, choose:
extra-clear and anti-reflective glass

- To reduce light and dazzle, choose tinted glass:

table made of 19mm thick clear float glass with bevelled edges

Tinted glass has high absorption power and less light transmittance
